Drew grew up in Jackson, Michigan, where his habit of wandering around residential construction sites not only got him into trouble, but also sparked his interest in architecture. He attended Lehigh University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Fraternity and earned a B.A. in Architecture. After graduating Summa cum laude from Lehigh (2008), Drew attended Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan.
While earning his M.Arch from Michigan, Drew participated in travel studios in Argentina and Taiwan. Additionally, he taught architectural structures courses for undergraduate and graduate students. Upon graduating with High Distinction from Michigan (2011), Drew received a Graduate Thesis Award for his project Suburbia in Vain: Propagating Viral Vertical Sprawl.
Now residing in Brooklyn, New York, Drew continues to be inspired by architecture, art, design, and the vibrant urban fabric of his new city.
